WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior women’s lacrosse attacker Amanda Baker has been named Lycoming College’s Warrior of the Week for March, 15.
Baker (Media, Pa./Penncrest) helped the Lady Warriors win their only game of the week, a 15-4 decision at Manhattanville College on Saturday, March 13. Baker scored four goals and tallied four assists in Lycoming's first Middle Atlantic Conference victory of the year. In the game, she took six shots, placing five on goal. Baker assisted three different Lady Warriors in the game.
Baker is a commercial design major.
The Lady Warriors (2-2, 1-0) play their home opener on Thursday, March 18, against local rival Susquehanna University. Game time is set for 4 p.m. at the Robert L. Shangraw Athletic Complex.
Lycoming’s sports information office will announce a Warrior of the Week throughout the 2009-10 academic year. The athletes will be featured on the homepage of the athletics Web site at athletics.lycoming.edu.
