After one of the most dominating weeks in the circle in her career, senior Holly Lansberry has earned her third career Warrior of the Week award. Lansberry posted a 2-0 record with a save in five appearances while the Warriors were at the NCSI in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She tossed a complete game in the season-opening 7-2 win over Mary Washington, striking out five, then came on the next day to get the last two outs of a 7-5 win over the Eagles. She also tossed eight innings and striking out 11 in a no-decision with Mount Aloysius before firing a three-hit shutout with nine strikeouts in an 11-0 win over Mount Saint Mary. Overall, Lansberry finished with a 1.31 ERA in 21.1 innings while striking out 27 and walking just five. At the plate, Lansberry was also solid, scoring seven runs and driving in four in eight games.
