After guiding the Lycoming men's basketball team to a pair of road wins, senior Jerald Williams has earned his sixth career Warrior of the Week award. The point guard averaged 11.0 points, 14.0 assists, 6.5 steals and 3.5 rebounds per game as the Warriors beat traditional rivals Susquehanna and Wilkes. To begin the week, he posted 10 points, 11 assists and six steals in an 80-69 win at Susquehanna, becoming part of the first senior class since 1969 to not lose to Susquehanna in their careers. After that, he posted 12 points, 17 assists and seven steals to lead the Warriors to a 109-102 overtime win against Wilkes. Williams hit a buzzer-beating eight-footer to send game into overtime, crossed 600 career assists in the game, ending it with 606 and notched his third straight 10-assist game for the second time in his career during the game. In the past four years, there have been 11 10-assist games in the Commonwealth Conference by other players and 18 by Williams.
