With three wins at the MAC Individual Championships, senior Jason Mifsud wrote a new chapter in the Lycoming College men's tennis program's history, earning him his second Warrior of the Week award of the fall and the fifth of his career. Mifsud breezed to the MAC title in the top flight, as the top seed posted a 7-6 (4), 6-0 win over King's Tony Bevuevino on Saturday. On Sunday, he was even smoother, beating Elizabethtown's Eric Fritzges, 6-4, 6-2, and then he avenged a loss to Wilkes’ Steve Wilson in the quarterfinals of the 2011 MAC individuals in the championship match, cruising to a 6-4, 6-1 win. He is the first Warrior men's tennis player to ever win a MAC Individual Championship and improved his career record to 37-11 in singles play. He finished the fall portion of his senior year with a 7-1 record, falling only in the semifinals of the ITA Southeast Regionals B-2 singles flight.
