After a dominating performance at the Tip-Off Tournament to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team to the title, junior Shelby Gear has earned the second Warrior of the Week award of her career. Gear capped off an All-Tournament performance by leading the Warriors to a five-set win over Misericordia in the championship, slamming home 19 kills and hitting .514, to go with seven digs and two blocks. For the week, which also included a sweep of conference foe Albright before Warriors rolled to four wins at the tournament, Gear hit a steady .457 and averaged 3.06 kills and 1.44 digs. She also posted 10-kill matches against Misericordia and Penn College during the tournament and notched three blocks against Albright.
