After winning her first career women's tennis singles match to wrap up the 2011-12 campaign, freshman Abbey Smith has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. Smith and junior Adriana Rivera posted an 8-4 win over Kellie O’Donnell and Maygan Henzie at No. 3 doubles against Alvernia in the season-ending match on Saturday before following that with a 4-6, 6-2, 10-6 superset tiebreak win over Henzie at No. 6 singles for her first career singles win. Smith posted a 1-1 mark in doubles with Rivera during the week to finish their season with a 3-3 mark together.
