A school-record, two First Team All-MAC honors and four more second-team accolades have helped freshman T.J. Guminski earn his first career Warrior of the Week award. The breaststroke specialist helped the Warriors to a fourth-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay to kick off his first conference meet on Friday night. On Saturday, he swam the butterfly leg of the 200-yard medley relay which finished third before earning his first career All-MAC honors in the 400-yard individual medley, finishing fifth with a time of 4:24.28. He followed that by taking second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a school-record 1:00.88. He closed out his busy Saturday by helping the Warriors take sixth in the 800-yard freestyle relay. On Sunday, he barely missed another All-MAC honor, taking seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke, but he did help the 400-yard freestyle relay squad take fourth to close out his weekend.
