With a monster tournament at the Budd Whitehill National Duals to lead the Warriors, senior 125-pound wrestler Stephen Hinton has earned his second straight Warrior of the Week award. The unranked wrestler posted four wins in as many matches at the event to extend his winning streak to six matches. He notched a 13-4 major decision over Wabash’s Tommy Poynter, a d3wrestle.com contender to open the tournament. After a forfeit win over Case Western Reserve, he closed out Friday with an 8-7 win over eighth-ranked Brandon Gauthier of Rhode Island College, sealing the win with a third-period takedown. He closed out his run at the event by adding an 8-0 major decision to lead the Warriors to a 22-15 win over King’s.
