With a new career-best time and his first career top-50 finish, freshman Alex Bottorff has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. Bottorff, a Cicero-North Syracuse graduate, took over the lead spot in the Warrior harriers' lineup, posting a time of 30:59.00 to take 34th in a field of 114 runners at the Messiah College Invitational. In the process, he cut nearly 40 seconds off his best 8K time at the event.
