After scoring all 11 of her points in the second half to help break open a 72-55 win at Elmira on Saturday for the Lycoming women's basketball team, senior Kami Abdo has earned her second career Warrior of the Week award and her first of the year. Abdo finished with 11 points, three 3-pointers, two assists and two steals in 26 minutes. Abdo hit 4-of-6 shots in the second half, helping the Warriors extend a three-point halftime lead to six by the end of the third quarter and 17 by the end of the game. She hit a layup to give Lycoming a 36-31 lead before Elmira came back to tie the game and then hit her first 3-pointer to give Lycoming a 43-37 lead with 3:37 left. In the fourth quarter, she hit 2-of-3 from long range, the first giving Lycoming a nine-point lead and the second a 12.
Abdo is second on the Warriors, averaging 10.1 points and 2.2 steals per game. She has also added 2.4 assists per game and leads the team with a .362 3-point field goal percentage, which is fourth-best in the Landmark Conference.
