After not hitting a 3-pointer in four games, sophomore Misaias Herrera broke out with eight trifectas against King's on Monday, Nov. 25, to earn his first career Warrior of the Week award. Herrera went 8-of-11 from downtown to keep the men's basketball team in the game against the Monarchs, hitting five treys in the first half and three in the second to finish with 24 points and the sixth-most 3-pointers made in a game in program history.

Herrera is shooting 37 percent (11-of-30) from downtown after entering the game 3-of-19. His scoring average also jumped from 1.7 to 4.9 points per game.
