With the game-winning goal to help the Lycoming College women's soccer team to earn the first postseason win in program history, senior Madison Maihle has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. Maihle, who set Lycoming's school record with 77 games played, lifted Lycoming to a 2-1 win over Moravian in the Landmark Conference Championship semifinal with a goal in the 66th minute, her second goal of the season - both of which were game-winning strikes.
Maihle, a defender, helped Lycoming post a school-record 15-3-3 record to earn the No. 2 seed in the Landmark Conference Championship to allow the Warriors to host a postseason game for the first time ever. Lycoming had a program-record 10 shutouts during the campaign. Maihle and Lycoming's seven seniors helped the team to a 44-21-12 record during their careers and the first two postseason appearances in program history.
