Posting a 6-1 record at the NCAA Southeast Regional to finish third and earn his second career bid to the NCAA Division III Championships has helped senior Gable Crebs earn his fifth career Warrior of the Week award and his second of the season. Crebs fell behind eighth-seeded Delaware Valley's Daniel Eckley, 6-5, in the second period, but finished the match with a pair of takedowns to take control in the 13-6 win to earn the 197-pound weight class' final bid from the region. The No. 4 seed, he beat No. 3 seed John Santowski of Washington & Lee, 10-5, in the consolation semifinals. On the first day of the tournament, he opened the tournament with a pin and tech fall before a setback in the quarterfinals.
The 2022 All-American is 23-6 this year and 106-28 in his career. He has placed at the NCAA Southeast Regional four times in his career, taking seventh in 2020, third in 2022, fifth in 2023 and third this year.
