With a pair of double-figure scoring efforts to lead the women's basketball team, senior Emily Lockard has earned her sixth career Warrior of the Week award and her second of the season. Lockard led the Warriors to a 56-51 win over Juniata, their first Landmark Conference win in program history, while posting 17 points and five rebounds, as the team improved to 5-0 for the first time in program annals. She went 7-for-7 from the free throw line in the win. She followed that with 12 points, four rebounds and two blocks against 18th-ranked Elizabethtown on Saturday. For the week, she averaged 14.5 points and shot 50 percent from the floor, adding 4.5 rebounds and 1.0 block per contest.
Lockard is fifth in the Landmark Conference, averaging 14.8 points per game, fourth with 7.5 rebounds, second with a .513 field goal percentage and fourth with 1.3 blocked shots per game.
