With a pair of double-doubles to lead the women's basketball team to a pair of wins and its first 3-0 start since 2014, senior Emily Lockard has earned her fifth career Warrior of the Week award and her first of the season. The forward notched a career-high 20 points to go with 10 rebounds in a 75-73 win over Penn State Altoona, hitting the go-ahead layup and the next one as well to keep Warriors in control with less than 3:00 to play against the Lions. She also added three blocks, two assists and three steals in the game. Lockard followed that with 14 points and 13 rebounds in a 55-47 win over King's, adding two blocks and two steals in the win. For the week, she averaged 17.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.5 steals per game during the week.
Lockard leads the Landmark Conference in rebounding (10.3), and she is second in blocked shots (2.0), third in field goal percentage (.532) and fifth in scoring (17.0).
