Setting Lycoming's single-season and career doubles records while hitting .591 (13-for-22) during a week where the team went 3-1 in MAC Freedom play to clinch a postseason appearance for the first time since 2011 (in a season where all teams weren't invited to the postseason) has helped senior Morgan Wetzel earn her second career Warrior of the Week award and the first of the season. She scored five runs, hit five doubles, hit a homer and drove in seven, posting a .955 slugging percentage, plus she stole two bases over the course of six games. Wetzel had six straight hits during a sweep of Wilkes, adding a double and a homer, driving in six and scoring twice in the doubleheader. She went 5-of-8 with three runs and three doubles in twinbill against Susquehanna and also had a two-hit game with her record-setting 33rd career and 13th double of the year against third-place King's, as she also drove in the game-winning run with an eighth-inning single in a 1-0 win over the Monarchs. Wetzel moved into the top five in Lycoming's single-season record book in hits (44) and total bases (71), while her 27 runs and four homers are seventh in program history. She also broke program's career total bases record with the double against King's and became the second player in Lycoming history to reach 125 career hits.
