Kayla Maxson

After a standout career at Shenandoah University, Kayla Maxson is set for her first year as an assistant women's basketball coach at Lycoming College in 2025-26.

Maxson was part of the winningest class in school history (66-31) at Shenandoah, helping the team reach the ODAC Championship final in three consecutive years, earning two NCAA Championship bids - including the school's first at-large selection. A skilled free throw shooter, she hit 91.7 percent at the stripe as a senior, and 87 percent at the line in her career. She also canned 39.5 percent of her 3-point attempts.

Maxson received her Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Shenandoah University in 2024 and is working towards a master's degree in sport and entertainment management from the University of South Carolina in December 2025.
