A longtime local baseball coach with more than 20 years’ experience coaching, Jim Dinsmore in his fourth year with the Warriors as a volunteer assistant in 2026.

Dinsmore serves as the team's first base coach during games and works with the team's outfielders. He has been a part of all of the team's 42 wins since the program was reinstated in 2023, helping the team to its first appearance in the postseason in 2025, as the team earned a berth in the Landmark Conference Championship.

Dinsmore was a coach of two Babe Ruth state championship teams and  two regional runner up squads. He has experience coaching new baseball programs in scholastic competition as Associate Head Coach and Head Coach at St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Boalsburg. Saint Joseph’s was in its second year of baseball when he joined the staff, where he coached for six years.

St. Joseph’s reached three consecutive district conference finals and won its first state playoff game, reaching the Class A quarterfinals in 2019. 

A Cogan Station resident, Dinsmore and wife, Susan, have two children, Ian and Joseph. A 1982 graduate of Penn State University, Dinsmore is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association and a financial advisor with Evergreen Wealth Solutions.
