    Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach

A longtime coach in the amateur ranks, Evan Evans is set for his first year as a volunteer assistant with the Lycoming College baseball team in 2026.

Evans served as an assistant coach at Frederick Community College, where he worked from 2003-14 and 2019-25, helping the team earn a top-20 ranking each year and reaching the No. 1 slot in the national polls in 2011, as the team reached the NJCAA Division II World Series five times in his tenure.

Evans is also the president and a board member with In The Dirt baseball based in Frederick, Md., and he has coached travel teams for more than 20 years with In The Dirt, LOUYAA, Snyder Baseball, NOVA Baseball Academy, and other organizations.

He also coached high school baseball at Atholton High School, winning a state title in 2002. Internationally, Evans coached the Belgian National Team and he has also served as an envoy for the Toronto Blue Jays Fall Instructional League.
