Back for his second stint with the Lycoming College football team, Dave Becker brings nearly two decades of experience with him as a football coach. He will serve as a volunteer assistant with the defensive line in 2025.

Becker previously spent six years with the Warriors from 2010-15, where he served as an offensive line/tight ends coach. In six years with the program, Becker helped the Warrior offensive line produce 14 all-conference performers and two all-region selections. The team posted five winning seasons, as well, and has notched a 41-19 (.683) record during his time with the program.

A guard at California (Pa.) from 1996-99, he coached in the area after earning  a bachelor’s degree in technology education in 2000. The Towanda High School graduate worked as an offensive line coach for current Warriors’ assistant coach Steve Radocaj at Williamsport Area High School from 2000-02, assisting on the squad that the Sun-Gazette called the best area prep football team of the decade in 2001.

After three years at Williamsport, Becker worked with the offensive and defensive lines at Jersey Shore Area High School from 2003-09, where he helped the Bulldogs to three straight District 4 Class AAA championship games from 2006-08.

Becker, who earned a Master's degree in information technology from Virginia Tech University in 2020 and a Master of Science in workforce education and development from Penn State University in 2006, is an assistant professor in computer information technology, at the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
 
Becker and wife, Jessica, daughter, Kyla, and son, Dawson, reside in Linden.
