After a four-year career at Westminster College (Mo.) and a graduate year at Missouri S&T, Bode Gebbink is set for his first year as an assistant baseball coach at Lycoming College, where he will work primarily with the team's pitching staff.
Gebbink spent the 2025 season with Division II Missouri S&T, where the left-hander made 25 appearances out of the bullpen, posting a 3.62 ERA and four saves. Prior to that, Gebbink spent four years at Westminster, where he compiled a 16-11 record with a 5.11 ERA, striking out 175 batters in 216.2 innings. He earned all-conference honors as a sophomore and was a three-time academic all-conference selection, as well as being inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma Athletic Honor Society in 2023.
Gebbink moved into the coaching ranks in the summer of 2025, serving as the pitching coach with the Waynesboro Generals in the Virginia Baseball League.
A Saint Joseph, Ill., native, Gebbink earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Westminster College (Mo.) in 2024 and he is working on a Master of Business Administration from Missouri S&T.
