Troy Hembury

Troy Hembury is set for his eighth year on staff at Lycoming College in 2025-26 after the Muncy, Pa., native was an Ivy League wrestler at Columbia University and a former state runner-up.

In his first seven years, Hembury has helped the Warriors to a 70-22 dual meet record and mentored 11 NCAA qualifiers. In Hembury's first year, he was also a key part of Garrett Wesneski's run to a national title at 285 pounds. He has helped coach three All-Americans during his time at Lycoming.
 
Hembury won 25 career matches in three seasons at Columbia, starting his career by posting a 16-5 record at 184 pounds and leading the team with three falls. He won his weight class at both the New York State Championships 'B' and the Wilkes Open.
 
Hembury was a three-time placewinner at Muncy High School, finishing as the state runner-up as a senior and racking up 166 wins in his prep career. He was inducted into the high school's Hall of Fame in 2024.
 
Hembury earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from Columbia University in 2017.
