A 2005 graduate of Lycoming College and a three-time MAC placewinner, Sean Reese is back at his alma mater for his second stint as an assistant coach, entering his 10th year and 13th overall. He previously served as an assistant coach for three seasons from 2009-12.
Reese has helped the Warriors in some role in 13 of the past 14 seasons, working as a volunteer assistant most recently, while also working as an assistant coach for several years, as time allows around his job as an Aquatic Biologist with the Watershed Sciences and Engineering Program at Bucknell University’s Center for Sustainability and the Environment.
Reese has done a bit of everything for the Warriors in his career, from developing and running practices for the program to helping to setup and organize several of the team's special events, from the NCAA Regional and the Budd Whitehill Duals to the team's annual golf tournament and the Roger W. Crebs Wrestling Camps each summer.
A three-time MAC placewinner, Reese posted 82 wins during his four-year career from 2001-05. The Milton, Pa., native was a MAC finalist twice in his career. He was a team captain as a senior, a two-time team MVP and earned the team's Andy Berguson Award.
Reese earned a bachelor of arts from Lycoming in 2005, and went on to earn a master's of science degree from Marshall University. Reese and his wife, Ashley, live in New Columbia, Pa., with their son, Cullen.
