A four-year member of the Lycoming College men’s swim team, Zak Kibler ‘17 is set to begin his second year on the Lycoming swim team staff and his first as an assistant coach after serving as a student assistant in 2016-17.
Kibler was a four-year member of the men’s swim team from 2012-16 before serving as a student assistant in 2017. He holds the fifth-best time in program history in the 200-yard breaststroke with a swim of 2:21.68 in 2013. He also competed in the 200- and 400-yard individual medley relays, 100- and 200-yard breastroke, the 100-, 200- and 500-yard freestyles and the 400-yard freestyle relay at the MAC Championships.
A native of East Greenville, Pa., Kibler earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in math from Lycoming in 2017. He is a middle school math teacher in the Loyalsock Area School District.
