Cara Zortman is set for a fifth season with the Warriors in 2025-26 as an assistant swim coach. Zortman is active during team practices and also helpful in running the team's social media accounts.
Zortman, a four-year letterwinner with the Warriors from 2017-21, developed into one of the Middle Atlantic Conference's best sprinters during her career. A two-time captain, Zortman earned Third Team All-MAC honors in 2020 after posting a school-record 24.63 performance in the 50-yard freestyle, which is now the second-fastest time in program history.
A four-time member of the MAC Academic Honor Roll, Zortman is second in program history with the second-fastest time in program history in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.88). She also holds the third-fastest time in program history in the 100-yard freestyle at 54.74 seconds.
A York, Pa., native, Zortman graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology from Lycoming in 2021 and is a biology teacher at Williamsport Area High School.
