Whitney Boshart is set for her third season as the head women's lacrosse coach at Lycoming College in 2020.
In two years with the Warriors, Boshart has led the Warriors to an 11-21 record and six wins in conference play. She has coached four all-conference selections and two of her student-athletes, Kelly McGinniss and Jordan Lazarich, were selected to the IWLCA North/South Division III All-Star Game. McGinniss also set an NCAA all-divisions record by grabbing 239 draw controls in 2019 and she earned all-region accolades as a junior.
The team also has collected 17 MAC Academic Honor Roll selections and three were honored on the IWLCA/Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll. The team also earned Academic Honor Squad accolades from the IWLCA in 2018.

In two seasons at Lock Haven, Boshart was active in all aspects with the program in the past two years, working with both the defense and the offense while assisting in the team’s recruiting efforts under Coach Reese. She helped the team to a 23-13 record in her two years with the team and rankings in the top 20 in each season while also coaching three IWLCA All-South Region players and six players to all-conference accolades. Boshart also took over head coaching duties while Reese was on maternity leave during the fall portion of the 2016-17 academic year.

Before moving to Lock Haven, Boshart spent two seasons at Division III programs as an assistant coach, working the 2015 season at the University of Scranton and the 2014 season at SUNY Oneonta. At Scranton, she helped the team host its first Landmark Conference Tournament game in program history and at Oneonta, she helped the team to its first national ranking in program history.

She has also served as a coach with several club and local leagues, working with the Buffalo Crush and Hamburg Knights club teams and the Massena Youth Lacrosse League in New York.

A four-year letterwinner at SUNY Potsdam, Boshart was a three-year starter and two-year captain for the Bears. The attacker developed into one of the team’s top scoring options, posting 20 of her 60 career goals as a senior. She finished her career having appeared in all 61 games the Bears played during her career, starting her last 46 games.

A native of Watertown, N.Y., Boshart graduated from Potsdam with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2013, earning SUNYAC All-Academic Team honors as a senior. She is currently working towards a Master of Sports Administration from Lock Haven University.
