Lindsay Reese is set to begin her fourth season as the women's lacrosse program's seventh head coach in 2016.

During her time with the program, Reese has mentored six all-conference honorees and led the team to one winning season.

Reese continued to build the Warriors into contenders in the Commonwealth Conference in 2015, as she guided the team to a 10-6 overall record, its best since 2010. Along the way, the team scored 207 goals, a 13 percent improvement over 2014, while allowing three goals a game less. The team had two all-conference performers in the conference's leading goal scorer Meghenn Jackson and freshman Jordan Lazarich.

In her second year with the program, Reese continued to help build the Warriors, as the team posted five wins and were within three goals in four losses. The team continued to improve offensively, scoring 184 goals and notching 73 assists. To cap the season, junior Erin Cieniewicz and freshman goalkeeper Nicole Gerling both devoloped into all-conference athletes.

During her first year at the helm, Reese continued the rebuilding efforts of the Warriors, as she helped the team to four wins and kept the team within five goals in six of the team's 12 losses. She helped the Warriors to their best totals in several statistical categories since 2010, including goals (174), assists (63), caused turnovers (111) and goals-against average (13.45). She also helped coach Brooke Strausser and Lindsay Schilling to all-conference accolades.

Before coming to Lycoming, Reese was involved in all aspects of the program at Division II Slippery Rock, including budget management, the organization of fall tournaments, assisting with planning the spring break trip, recruiting, film breakdown and scouting.

During her time at The Rock, Reese helped the program tie the school record for most wins in a season in 2011 (11) before breaking the mark with a 12-5 season in 2012. She also helped coach two players (Amy Halls and Casey Quinn) to All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and IWLCA All-Region honors.

Reese broke into coaching in 2010, serving as an assistant coach for Lycoming under Erica Brown, who is now the head coach at Tiffin University. Reese helped lead the Warriors to a 10-8 season while serving as the team’s offensive coordinator. She also helped guide the team to the Middle Atlantic Conference semifinals and coached six all-conference players and two all-region selections.

Prior to making her collegiate coaching debut at Lycoming, Reese spent three years working as a graduate assistant for the Buccaneer Athletic Scholarship Association at East Tennessee State University. While at ETSU, Reese was involved in game management, community relations, promotions, special events and fundraising. She served as the president of the student-athlete support group “Buc Wild,” which became the largest student organization on campus under her leadership. She also served as the director of the inaugural ETSU/Citizens Bank Soccer Tournament.

Reese, formerly Lindsay Rentel, played lacrosse at Lock Haven from 2004-07. The Eagles reached the conference semifinals in each of her four years with the program, advancing to the title game twice. The team also reached the NCAA national semifinals in 2005 and 2007.

Reese served as team captain twice in her career, having her most productive year in 2006. She was named to the IWLCA and WomensLacrosse.com Second Team All-America squads. She was also selected to the IWLCA All-Region First Team, accompanying her second team honor from 2005. Reese was named to the All-PSAC first team and also was recognized as a national player of the week by WomensLacrosse.com during the season.

She still ranks in the top 10 in career goals (143), assists (64) and points (207) at Lock Haven and was the fourth player in school history to reach 200 career points.

A native of Medford Lakes, N.J., Reese resides in Jersey Shore, Pa., with her husband, Michael, and daughter, Ainsley Cathlyn. She earned a Bachelor of Science in sports administration from Lock Haven in 2007 and a Master of Arts in sports management from East Tennessee State in May 2010.
