With eight years of experience as a coach, Kate Morris is set for her second year as an assistant coach with the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team.

In her first year with the program, Morris served as a game-day and practice assistant coach, helping in multiple aspects of the program.

Morris was a four-year letterwinner at Vassar College, serving as a team captain during her junior and senior seasons. She finished her career as Vassar’s all-time leader in games played (54), as the three-year starter contributed 20 goals and 16 assists.
 
She continued with Vassar as an assistant field hockey and women's lacrosse assistant coach after graduation, helping the 2005 Vassar women's lacrosse team win the first Seven Sisters Championship in program history. The team advanced into the ECAC Tournament, helping her and head coach Judy Finerghty earn the 2005 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year award.
 
A native of Katonah, N.Y., Morris went on to coach at the Park School in Baltimore, Md., for four seasons before serving as an assistant with West Virginia University's club team from 2011-13.
