After earning four letters for the Warriors on defense, Ashley Steel is in her first year as an assistant coach for the team.
Steel was an important part of a defensive corps that helped the Warriors earn four bids to the Middle Atlantic Conference playoffs during her career, including a trip to the conference semifinals in 2010.
Steel appeared in 52 career games, posting five goals and two assists. She scooped up 83 groundballs and caused 55 turnovers.
As a senior, Steel enjoyed her finest campaign, posting three goals, picking up 30 groundballs and causing 25 turnovers.
Steel is finishing her degree as a history and psychology major.
