The Lycoming College all-time hits leader, Taylor Lesser '13, is set to rejoin the softball program as an assistant coach, as she begins her first year as an assistant coach in 2014.

Lesser is one of the finest offensive players in the history of the college, as she finished her career with a program-record 135 hits. She is also 13th with a .329 batting average, seventh with 17 doubles, sixth with 54 RBI, fourth with 159 total bases, fourth with 42 walks, fifth with 67 runs scored and second with 133 games played.

She capped her career with a fine senior season, hitting .347 with a team-leading 35 hits, 21 runs scored, five doubles and a .404 on-base percentage. A smooth fielding second baseman, she earned Second Team All-Commonwealth Conference honors.

A Lock Haven, Pa., native, Lesser was an All-Mountain League selection at Central Mountain High School.
