An all-conference catcher at Messiah University, McKenzie Seyler is set for her fourth season as an assistant softball coach at Lycoming College in 2026.
The Warriors appeared in back-to-back conference championship finals with Seyler on board in 2023 and 2024, as the team has won 56 games and 11 Warriors have earned all-conference honors, with three earning all-region accolades during her time in the program.
Seyler was a four-year starter with Messiah's softball team from 2017-20, helping the team to two NCAA Championship berths and one MAC Commonwealth title, posting a .298 career batting average with 93 hits, 56 runs, three homers and 45 RBI. As a junior, she earned second-team all-conference honors after hitting .324 with 25 runs and 21 RBI.
Seyler is an employee relations specialist with Hope Enterprises. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Messiah in 2020 and a Master of Arts in industrial and organizational psychology from Liberty University in 2022.
