Krystin Montoro

A Division II National Champion at Lock Haven University, Krystin Montoro is set for her 11th season with the Lycoming College softball staff as an assistant coach in 2026.

Montoro has helped the Warriors to a 157 wins in the past 10 seasons, including helping the team to slots in regional rankings in two of those seasons and helping the team to four 20-win campaigns as well as two appearances in a conference championship game. She helped the 2023 team win a school-record 25 games. She has helped mentor 25 all-conference selections.

Montoro played in 174 games at Lock Haven, serving primarily as the team’s first baseman and helping the squad to three NCAA Division II World Series appearances. The Eagles won the 2009 Division II title, with Montoro starting 52 games and hitting .467 with two home runs that season.

Montoro is a licensed professional counselor with Stocki and Neil Counseling and Associates. She also is a licensed behavioral specialist with Lycoming Therapeutic Wraparound Services. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lock Haven University in 2010 and received a Master’s degree in clinical counseling with a concentration in applied behavior analysis from Eastern University in 2015.
