The top power-hitter in program history, Janelle Poorman has returned to the program and is set for her second year as a volunteer assistant coach in 2015.
Poorman, a four-year starter at catcher for the Warriors, graduated with the school record of 16 career home runs and 84 RBI. She smashed the school record for career home runs with her first blast of her junior year and finished her career by becoming the first player in school history to hit two homers in the same game, hitting a pair against Stevenson on her Senior Day. As a senior, she also earned NFCA Scholar-Athlete accolades.
A Bellefonte, Pa., native, Poorman was a two-time First Team All-Mountain League selection at Bald Eagle Area High School. She received a bachelor of arts in psychology from Lycoming in 2013.
