A four-year standout at Bloomsburg University, Danielle Lazorka in his second year as an assistant coach on the Lycoming College softball team, serving on the same coaching staff as her father, Dan, the head coach, and mother, Pam, an assistant coach.

Lazorka was a standout infielder with the Huskies, recording 177 hits, 113 runs and posting a .306 career batting average for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference powerhouse.

She was named a Second Team All-Atlantic Region selection as a senior after hitting .299 with seven doubles as a senior. A two-time All-PSAC Central Division first team selection, she enjoyed her best collegiate season as a junior when she hit .380 with 54 runs and 33 RBI in 58 games.

A Jersey Shore High School graduate, Lazorka lettered in both softball and basketball for the Bulldogs.

Lazorka earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Bloomsburg in 2011.
