A two-year letterwinner at Mansfield University, Courtney Baer has served as an assistant softball coach for 12 seasons for the softball program under her sister, Melissa.

Baer played two seasons as an infielder at Division II Mansfield University, where she appeared in 17 career games and posted a .412 batting average. As a freshman at Mansfield, she earned PSAC Scholar-Athlete and NFCA Scholar-Athlete accolades. She graduated from Mansfield in 2015.

Baer and husband, Cory, have a daughter, Mackenzie, and son, Waylon, and reside in Williamsport.
