Biography

2019: Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth defender … started all 20 games … scored two goals and added two assists … scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 overtime win over Moravian College and also had goal against Hood … registered six shots with three on goal … had assists against Alvernia and in conference semifinal against Arcadia.

2018: Started all 21 games as a defender … fourth on the team with 1640 minutes … took four shots with all four being on goal … anchored a defense that allowed just 14 goals ... a member of the MAC Academic Honor Roll.

2017: Played in 22 games and started 20 as a defender … recorded assists against Widener and Albright … a member of the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
 
2016: Appeared in seven games and started one … took one shot on goal.

High School: A three-year starter at North Allegheny … a two-time first-team All-WPIAL and all-section selection … helped team to four straight appearances in the WPIAL playoffs … played with North United club team.

Personal: Son of Roz and Scott Thornton … has two brothers, Christian and Ryan, and one sister, Marina … an accounting and managerial economics major … favorite athlete is Russell Wilson.
