Brandon Kates is set for his third year with the Lycoming College men’s soccer staff as a volunteer assistant coach in 2019.

Kates served as an assistant with the Warriors in 2013-14, helping the team to its first MAC Commonwealth title in 2013. He moved on to work as an assistant coach at Susquehanna University from 2015-16 before serving as an assistant at Lafayette University in 2017.
 
Kates developed into one of the best players in Susquehanna’s history, serving as a captain on the 2012 squad that reached the NCAA Division III Sweet 16. A three-time All-Landmark Conference selection, Kates wrapped up his career by being named Third Team All-American from D3soccer.com in 2012. He was also a NSCAA First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region selection.
 
A Cherry Hill, N.J., native, Kates was selected to the Landmark Conference All-Decade Team as a defender in 2016.
