A NCAA Championships competitor at Penn State and a SEC track and field team champion at Arkansas, Rebekka Morgan is in her second season as an assistant coach with the Lycoming College cross country team in 2016.
A Mentor, Ohio, native, Morgan spent two seasons on the cross country and track and field teams at Arkansas and three at Penn State.
In 2015, she qualified for the NCAA Track and Field Championships in the 800-meter run and also competed on the 4x400-meter relay team, which placed sixth in the nation.
She also finished fourth in the 800-meter run at the SEC Championships and helped the distance medley relay team win a SEC title at the indoor track and field championships.
Morgan spent the first three years of her career at Penn State, where she was a two-year member of the cross country and track and field teams. As a sophomore, she earned All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors by placing 10th at the race and she finished the year by finishing 71st at the NCAA Championships.
A distinguished runner at Gilmour Academy, she won 10 gold medals at the Ohio High School Athletic Association Outdoor Championships during her career.
Morgan and her husband, Nate, a former Penn State wrestler, reside in Williamsport.
