High School: A three-year letterwinner as a running back and linebacker at Valley View … a Second Team PA Football News all-state pick as a linebacker and Honorable Mention All-Eastern PA running back as a senior … rushed for 308 yards, made 100 tackles, five sacks and an interception as a senior ... added 105 tackles as a junior, earning his first of two all-division honors ... had 272 tackles in career ... played with the county team in the Scranton Lions Club Dream Game ... also lettered as an infielder in baseball.
 
Personal: Son of Ann Marie Griffiths and Anthony Pittsman … has two brothers, Matt and Luke … a criminal justice major.
