High School: A four-year letterwinner in football and wrestling at Wellsboro ... a three-time all-league and two-time all-district selection in football … earned first team all-league and all-district honors as an offensive tackle … a first-team all-league defensive tackle as well … named Northern Tier League’s Lineman of the Year as a senior … a second-team all-league and honorable mention all-district offensive lineman as a junior … played in District IV North-South All-Star Game … a two-time section placewinner at heavyweight in wrestling … named all-region as a senior.

Personal: Son of Heather and Lance Covert ... has three brothers, Jesse, Wyatt, and Reed, and two sisters, Ruby and Lily ... an accounting major ... favorite team is the Washington Redskins.
