Peyton Allen will begin his first season with the Lycoming College football team in 2020-21, serving as an assistant coach with a focus on outside linebackers.
Following two years of playing linebacker at Bridgewater College (Va.) in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, Allen transitioned into a student assistant for his junior and senior years, working with tight ends and linebackers.
In 2019, Allen earned the Bridgewater College Athletics Golden Wing Award, which is designated for one person per team who exemplifies the ideals of team culture and work ethic.
After graduating from Bridgewater with a Bachelor of Science degree in nutritional science in 2019, Allen served as the defensive line coach at Maine Maritime Academy that fall. He helped Maine Maritime Academy with recruiting, game planning and strength and conditioning.
