A two-year letterwinner for the Warriors, Jacob Shermeyer is set for his first year as an assistant football coach with the team in 2025.
Shermeyer was a two-year letterwinner as a running back, rushing 27 times for 73 yards and catching 10 passes for 59 yards in his career. He was also a valuable member of the team's special teams unit, making 12 tackles during his senior season. He was a part of the Cape Charles Bowl Championship team in 2023. Shermeyer also played two seasons at Lebanon Valley.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Lycoming College in 2025.
