Compliance Philosophy
The Lycoming College Athletic Department believes it critically important to effectively and efficiently ensure the department's adherence to the rules and regulations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the Middle Atlantic Conference. The Athletic Department will hold itself to the highest standards of quality and ethics while cultivating an environment of respect, communication, and teamwork within the athletic department as well as the university community at large.

Incoming Transfer Students
If you are interested in transferring to Lycoming College from either a 2 or 4-year college, the Athletic Department needs to receive written permission to contact you from your current school before the coaches are able to contact you directly. If you are interested, and would like us to start the process, please contact the head coach of the program you would like to play in, and let him/her know you are interested in transferring to Lycoming. They will request permission to talk with you about transferring from your current school.
Student-athletes at the NCAA Division III level may only contact athletics department staff members regarding transfering following the completion of a Permission To Contact: Self Release form. That form isÂ
available in .pdf format from the NCAA website.

Outgoing Transfer Students
While we never want to see a student transfer from Lycoming College, we do understand Lycoming is not the perfect fit for everyone. If you are interested in transferring from Lycoming College, the Athletic Department will give permission to other athletic programs to talk to you.
If you are interested in transferring to a Division III school, please use the Permission To Contact: Self Release form. That form isÂ
available in .pdf format from the NCAA website.
If you are interested in being added to the NCAA Transfer Portal to allow all NCAA institutions to contact you, please contact Joe Guistina atÂ
guistina@lycoming.edu to begin the process. One of the first things that will be required of the student-athlete is to register with the
NCAA Eligibility Center, if they have not done so yet.
