Biography

2017: Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth infielder … started all 38 games at third base … broke the school-record and led the MAC Commonwealth with 36 RBI … tied the school record for doubles (12), while her 46 hits and 76 total bases are both second in school history … finished the season with a .365 batting average to go with 24 runs, three triples and four homers … started year with five straight multi-hit games, helping her earn her third MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week honors … had two hits, two runs, a triple, a homer and four RBI against Wis.-Stout … went 2-for-3 with a first-inning grand slam and five RBI against Penn College … went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer and four RBI in 12-4 win over Lebanon Valley … had 15 multiple hit games and eight multiple RBI efforts … finished her career second in doubles (30), total bases (179) and home runs (9) and third in hits (116) … also had the fourth-highest slugging percentage (.546) and she was tied for fifth with 67 runs.
 
2016: Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth infielder … played in 36 games and started 35 … split time between first base (20 games), third base (13 games) and catched (two games) … eighth in conference with .398 (39-for-98) batting average … finished season tied for school record with 65 total bases, second with 11 doubles and five home runs, fourth with 39 hits, sixth with 24 RBI and sixth with a .663 slugging percentage … fourth in conference in slugging percentage, seventh in  homers and eighth in doubles … had a season-long 12-game hitting streak from March 17-April 2, going 15-of-36 (.417) during that stretch … stole four bases … had a fielding percentage of .954 on 214 chances … earned two MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week awards … earned first player of the week award after hitting .565 with eight runs, seven RBI, four doubles and a homer during trip to Myrtle Beach … added other one after becoming first player in school history to hit a home run in three consecutive games against Misericordia and in both ends of a doubleheader against Hood … led team with eight multiple-RBI games.

2015: Played in 28 games and started 15, primarily at third base … hit .281 (18-for-64) with four doubles, 12 runs and 11 RBI … went a combined 4-for-8 with a double, a stolen base, two RBI and four runs in a doubleheader sweep against Penn College … had four multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games … had a fielding percentage of .948 on 58 chances.

2014: Appeared in 20 games and started 11 … hit .325 (13-for-40) with three doubles, 11 runs and two RBI … had three multi-hit and multi-run games … went 2-for-4 with two runs in win over Stevenson and 2-for-2 with two runs against Albright after entering game as a defensive substitute.

High School: Team’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 and 2013 … earned all-district honors as a senior … earned the Team Leader Award in 2012 … a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Dan and Nicole Kunes … has two sisters, Brittany and Sarah … a psychology major … favorite movie is “Up”… favorite food is mac and cheese.
