The Warriors' defense kept Rowan without a first down in a scoreless first quarter, with Khalil Johnson recording a third-down sack on Rowan's first possession. The offense's best field position came when junior Chris Cooley (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area)'s punt was muffed and sophomore Brady Jordan (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore Area) recovered at the Rowan 49, and Ferguson converted fourth-and-1 with a 6-yard run to the Rowan 34.

The Warriors' defense kept the second quarter scoreless and set up the offense at the Rowan 1 after a fourth-down stop early in the quarter. The Warriors held Rowan to one first down in the first half, played in a driving rain, and the game remained 0-0 at halftime.

Rowan scored the only points in the third quarter when a fourth-down play from the Warriors' 16 resulted in a safety, making it 2-0. The Warriors' defense forced two Rowan punts and recorded tackles for loss by Mitchell-Brown, junior JayVon Story (Philadelphia, Pa./West Catholic) and sophomore Trinity Hill-Caleb (Suitland, Md./Suitland).

The Warriors' best chance to answer came on their first drive of the fourth quarter when Zimmerman hit first-year Wesley Horsman (Woodbine, Md./Glenelg) for 33 yards and junior Joe Lyons (Margate City, N.J./Atlantic City) later found Zimmerman for 22 yards on fourth down before the possession ended at Rowan's 5. Rowan had opened the quarter with a touchdown and extra point for a 9-0 score. Junior Aiden Barlett (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) forced a fumble inside the red zone and Mitchell-Brown recovered, but the Warriors' final possession ended on downs.
