HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The Lycoming College women's tennis team split the six singles matches with Houghton University, but Houghton won the doubles point to edge Lycoming, 4-3, in non-conference action at Kerr-Pegula Field House on Friday afternoon, March 20.

Lycoming (1-7 overall) won a pair of singles matches in third set superset tiebreakers and added forfeit wins at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles in the close matchup.

Sadie Stahl (Duboistown, Pa./South Williamsport) outlasted Victoria Martinez at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 4-6, 10-8, and sophomore
Yeanneth Rosado (Temple, Pa./Muhlenberg) posted a 6-4, 4-6, 10-6, win over Angelina Miller at No. 4 singles.

Houghton improved to 5-9 overall.

The Warriors get back to Landmark Conference play on Saturday, March 21, when Drew University comes to Brandon Park for a 1 p.m. match.
