IMMACULATA, Pa. – Senior
Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./Morris Catholic) set a Lycoming College women's lacrosse team record for points in a game for the second outing in a row, finishing with 17, and also set the program's standard for goals (14) in a 20-10 win over Immaculata University in non-conference action at Draper Walsh Stadium on Monday afternoon, March 2.
Block moved into a tie for third in program history with former teammate
Katie Maguire '25 with 274 career points, as she blasted past her program record of 14 goals set against Wilson on Saturday, Feb. 28. She also bested the 15-year-old record of 11 goals in a game set by Grace Garguiulo against Misericordia and finished the game with 226 career goals, seven from tying Megan Wallenhorst '08 for third in school history. She also added 10 draw controls.

Julie Dammes (Hicksville, N.Y./Hicksville) added three goals, two assists, four ground balls and two caused turnovers and both first-year
Molly Giufre (Montgomery, N.Y./Valley Central) and junior
Sarah Spring (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) each added a goal and three assists for the Warriors (2-2 overall). First-year
Lilian Quigley (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) also scored.
Senior
Autumn Shahan (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Charter) posted five caused turnovers and two ground balls and first-year
Rachel Crawford (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) also added five caused turnovers and three ground balls.
Block opened the game on a 4-1 run, scoring the first four Warrior goals in the opening 10 minutes and another four-goal run, where Dammes, Spring, Block and Giufre all scored to make it 8-2. Immaculata (0-2 overall) closed within 9-6 late in the second quarter and got within 11-8 five minutes into the second half before three straight goals from Lycoming, two from Block, gave Lycoming a 14-8 lead at the end of the third. Immaculata scored the first two goals of the fourth quarter, but Lycoming closed the game on a six-goal run, with Block scoring four goals in the final 15 minutes.
Elizabeth Mahmud posted four goals, two assists, eight draw controls and three ground balls and Alexa Marczak added three goals and four ground balls.
In net, sophomore
Emma Yanders (Kempton, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) posted 10 saves. Abigail Guarneri had nine saves for the Mighty Macs.
The Warriors are back on the field on Thursday, March 5, when they host Montclair State at 5 p.m., at UPMC Field.
