Warriors rout Mount Aloysius, 7-1

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Seven different Lycoming College women's soccer players scored as the team posted another rout, 7-1, over Mount Aloysius College on Saturday, Sept. 6, at UPMC Field, as it won its fourth straight game to kick off the 2025 season.
 
The Warriors (4-0 overall) held a 27-3 advantage in shots and scored the first six goals of the game.
 
Sophomore Ella Magee (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) kicked off the run with a penalty kick goal in the 13th minute before junior Mikayla Long (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) found the back of the net off a give from sophomore Jordan Zopp (White Marsh, Md./Concordia Prep).
 
Junior Norah Mosley (Robbinsville, N.J./Allentown) added a goal in the 29th minute and senior Abigail Umhoefer (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Our Lady of Lourdes) added the final goal of the first half in the 33rd minute off a give from first-year Alissa Kimes (York, Pa./Central York).
 
Senior Claudia Green (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) scored on a give from senior Natalie Bates (Newark, N.Y./Newark) in the 50th minute and senior Lily Finkbeiner (Warrenton, Va./Fauquier) added her first career goal on an assist from Long in the 56th minute. First-year Gabriella Rabinowitz (Sewell, N.J./Washington Township) scored the final Lycoming goal in the 84th minute.
 
Senior Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./Morris Catholic) pitched a one-save shutout in the first half before sophomore Marissa Price (Hicksville, N.Y./Hicksville) played the second half. McKenna Meadows and Brooke Mitchell combined for eight saves for the Mounties (0-2-2 overall). Amanda Price scored the Mounties goal.
 
The Warriors are back on the field on Tuesday night, Sept. 9, when they host Westminster College (Pa.) at 6 p.m., at UPMC Field.
