HUMMELS WHARF, Pa. – Junior Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) led the Lycoming College golf team with a 24^th-place finish with an 8-over-par 79 in a field of 69 golfers at the par-71, 6,261-yard Susquehanna Valley Country Club on Thursday, Sept. 18.
 
Eberz had 11 pars and a birdie on the par-5, 499-yard No. 10, as he finished a stroke ahead of teammates Tre Lesperance (Chadds Ford, Pa./Unionville) and Ryan Ault (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore Area), who finished tied for 29^th. Lesperance had nine pars and nine bogeys and Ault had eight pars and a birdie on the par-4, 380-yard No. 13. Junior Connor Shanahan (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) rounded out the scoring four with a 12-over-par 83, as he notched birdies on the par-4, 355-yard No. 16 and par-5, 459-yard No. 17.
 
Lycoming's score of 318 was good for ninth in a 14-team field. Susquehanna won the team title with a 293, three strokes ahead of Scranton.
 
First-year Hill Meserve (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) added a 17-over-par 88, which included birdies on the par-4, 374-yard No. 1, the par-3, 176-yard No. 5 and the par-3, 164-yard No. 9.
 
The Warriors head to Wyoming Valley Country Club for a King's College Tri-Match on Wednesday, Sept. 24, with tee-off set for 12 p.m.
