Gabriella Rabinowitz (Sewell, N.J./Washington Township) scored the last two goals for the Lycoming College women's soccer team in a 4-3 win over King's College at UPMC Field, as the team tied its program-record for best start with its seventh straight win.
King's (1-5-1 overall) tied the game at two in the 34
th minute, but the Warriors (7-0 overall) responded 45 seconds later, as junior
Mikayla Long (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) fired a through pass to Rabinowitz, who was ahead of everyone as she fired a shot into the corner.
In the second minute of the second half, senior
Kate Finkbeiner (Warrenton, Va./Fauquier) fired a pass to Rabinowitz, who fired a shot high into the center of the net from 25 yards out for her sixth goal of the season.
King's scored 15 seconds into the game, but Lycoming responded quickly, with first-year
Alissa Kimes (York, Pa./Central York) scoring, as she got the ball just outside the box with her back to the goal, dribbled back for space and fired high into the net to tie the game at one.
A foul just outside the box in the 29
th minute led to the second goal, as sophomore
Ella Magee (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) drilled a direct kick into the net for her eighth goal of the season.
King's tied the game off a corner kick, setting up Rabinowitz's pair of goals. A penalty kick in the 70
th minute brought the Monarchs within a goal, but King's didn't take a shot in the last 20 minutes.

Senior
Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./Morris Catholic) had one save in the win. Courtney Monard stopped 10 shots for King's, as Lycoming held a 28-9 advantage in shots.
The Warriors host Alvernia University on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m., as it tries to set the program record for best start with its eighth straight win.
